  • This work takes the redevelopment of Gwangmyeong New Town in Korea as its subject. What is important, however, is that the work is not simply about the changing urban landscape. The redevelopment is closely connected to the artist’s personal memories and experiences. In this sense, the work is both a photographic record of urban redevelopment and a photographic exploration of personal memory.
